Earlier this month Dublin band, The Innocent Bystander, released the music video for their new track ‘Neon Lights’. The track in and of itself is a unique amalgamation of a modern acoustic sound and a nostalgic 80’s electronica beat, providing an upbeat soundtrack to these cold months.
However the accompanying music video provides another layer of creativity to this Irish band’s distinct identity. The video is composed of obscure angles, neon lighting, energetic editing, and one of the most unique employments of a phone screen that we’ve come across in recent months.
Having just headlined a show in Whelans, The Innocent Bystander are starting to gain momentum in the Irish music scene, and are definitely ones to watch out for in the coming months. Check out the video above and let us know what you think.
