Earlier this month Dublin band, The Innocent Bystander, released the video for their new track ‘Neon Lights’. The track in and of itself is a unique amalgamation of modern acoustic, and nostalgic 80’s electronica, providing an upbeat yet original soundtrack to these cold months.
The newly released music video however, adds another layer of creativity to this Irish band’s distinct identity. The video is composed of obscure angles, neon lighting, energetic editing, and one of the most creative employments of a phone screen that we’ve seen in recent months.
Having just headlined Whelan’s on the 25th of January, The Innocent Bystander are gaining momentum in the Irish music scene, and they’re definitely one to look out for in the coming months. Have a watch of the video above and let us know what you think.
