Dublin this week - The Image You Missed

Welcome to a new segment of The Balti Club, when we suggest some cultural activities in Dublin each week. This week, we highly recommend you get yourself down to the Irish Film Institute and catch a screening of Donal Foreman's visual essay 'The Image You Missed'. The film is a conversation between Donal and his estranged father, the late documentary filmmaker Arthur MacCaig. Using never before seen footage from his fathers chronicles of the Northern Irish Troubles, Donal choreographs a story of Irish history and parenthood.

The Image You Missed will be screening at the Irish Film Institute until the 23rd of August.
