Balti Recommends: MISSING By George Muncey
If you’re into film photography, then you’ve probably come across ‘Negative Feedback’ in the last few months. The popular Youtube channel, and more recently, publication, is the brain child of talented UK photographer George Muncey. George’s educational and insightful videos on analog photography in all formats is bringing a new wave of interest to the world of film. We picked up the first issue of Negative Feedback’s zine last month and were extremely impressed with the quality of work it included, along with the overall quality of the publication.
Earlier this week, George released another zine under his own name, entitled “MISSING”. The zine was impressively created in the course of one month, from conception to publication. In it, George documents a series of missing cat posters around his area, and alludes to a bigger plot of a possible cat napper.
The publication is a lesson in creativity, and stirs our excitement for the future work of this photographer.
George details the making of “MISSING” in a video which you can watch here. You can also buy a copy of the zine from Negative Feedback’s website.
